Dr. Suleiman is Member of Board of Directors of SELF Microfinance Fund since May,2020. He is currently working as Director of Policy and Planning at the Institute of Finance Management since 2014. Dr. Suleiman also serves as Chairman of Board of Directors of Zanzibar Social Security Fund since 2014 and Member of the Board of Directors of Barclays Bank Tanzania since 2013. Dr. Suleiman has nineteen (19) years’ experience in provision of high quality research in investment, financial economics, and consultancy work in banks’ risks and treasury management and other areas of finance and banking.

Dr. Suleiman holds a PhD in Finance (2001) and MSc. in Finance from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK (1994), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) from IFM University (1993) and B.Sc. (Ed.) Hons from University of Dar es Salaam (1989).
