Ms. Lushagara currently serves as the Head of Legal Services and Board Secretary at SELF Microfinance Fund. She is a seasoned legal professional with over 19 years of experience in legal practice, governance, and public service. In her current role, she provides strategic legal guidance, oversees corporate governance, and ensures institutional compliance with regulatory and statutory frameworks.

Before joining SELF Microfinance Fund, Ms. Lushagara served as Principal State Attorney at the Office of the Solicitor General and the Attorney General’s Chambers, where she was involved in providing legal opinions, legislative drafting, and representation of the Government of Tanzania in legal matters.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Tumaini University, Iringa. Ms. Lushagara is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of both the Tanganyika Law Society and the Public Bar Association.
